I'm so happy you're here!

I'm Leanne! I know, my business is called Lea Marie! So why did I name my business Lea Marie you ask? Lea (pronounced Leah) is what my closest friends have always called me, it's very personal and close to my heart. Marie, is my middle name. My Great Aunt had the same middle name and now my daughter does too. Family means the world to me! And family doesn't always mean those that fall on your family tree. 

So now you may wonder why I chose photography. It all started in college over 10 years ago. I was shooting with a Minolta film camera and swore I would NEVER go digital. Well time marches on, and so does technology! Digital just has so many advantages, I couldn't stay away. Don't get me wrong, there is something about film that is so romantic. It sucks you in and makes you feel...artsy and creative. Like you created something from beginning to end, and that feeling cannot be replaced.

So here I am, after years of dabbling in photography. My full time job at an airline has kept me very busy. I took some time away from photography, but soon realized that a part of me was missing. And now I have a family of my own to torture photograph!

My goal is to make it affordable and fun for families to have memories that will last and are easy to share. In this technologically advanced society, the most important thing is to have something to share with our family and friends that are spread all over the globe. I hope to help make that easier and more creative with a session and digital files for you to upload and enjoy.
